Practical, founder-led guidance for entrepreneurs preparing for the UK Innovator Founder route.
Founder Compass helps international founders turn their startup idea into a clearer, stronger and more structured UK business case — from innovation and market positioning to scalability, financial planning and endorsement preparation.
Founder-led • UK startup experience • Practical business strategy
I know this process from personal experience. I was a recipient of the UK Start-up visa from 2023–2025 and later went through the Innovator Founder endorsement process myself.
That journey taught me something important: preparing a founder case isn’t simply about writing a business plan. You need to be able to explain why the business is genuinely innovative, why it can work, how it can grow, and why you are the right person to build it.
Founder Compass exists to help founders think through those questions before they submit.
Transparency matters
I was not endorsed under the Innovator Founder route. I don't claim to guarantee endorsement or visa approval. Founder Compass provides founder-focused business strategy and preparation support, with immigration and legal matters referred to appropriately qualified professionals.
The real problem
Most founders don't get stuck on formatting. They get stuck on the questions underneath the document.
Is my idea genuinely innovative?
Is the innovation clearly explained?
Does the business have a credible UK market opportunity?
Can I demonstrate viability?
How will this business scale?
What makes the business difficult to replicate?
Does my business model make commercial sense?
Are my financial assumptions credible?
Can I clearly explain my role as founder?
How do I prepare for questions about my business?
Founder Compass helps you work through the thinking behind the document — not simply produce another generic business plan.

Why Founder Compass
Built by someone who has personally navigated the UK startup visa ecosystem and the Innovator Founder endorsement process.
We focus on the thinking behind the business case rather than simply filling pages.
Your business is not treated like a template. Your market, experience, product and growth strategy matter.
No guarantees. No inflated success claims. No pretending to be an immigration decision-maker.
Fit
You want to establish and grow an innovative business in the UK.
You already have a product or business and need to develop a stronger UK growth strategy.
You have an idea but need to determine whether the business case is sufficiently developed.
You need a structured, critical review before approaching an endorsing body.
Who this isn’t for
Founder Compass isn't the right fit if you're looking for someone to simply copy a generic business-plan template, promise endorsement, or provide regulated immigration or legal advice.
